Los Angeles Turkey Trot

The Los Angeles Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning tradition in Downtown Los Angeles, returning for its 14th annual running on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event starts and finishes near Los Angeles City Hall, with the 1 Mile Dog Jog opening the morning at 7:30 a.m., two 5K waves at 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., the 10K departing last at 9:00 a.m., and the Widdle Wobble kids' run at 10:15 a.m.; a 5K/10K Combo option is also offered. The course passes downtown landmarks including the Walt Disney Concert Hall and The Broad museum before finishing at a festival in Grand Park. The Los Angeles Turkey Trot benefits The Midnight Mission, aiming to raise $100,000 toward meals and self-sufficiency programs for people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles, and is presented by UAE USA United with support from Costco and Delta Dental of California. A record 7,000 runners and walkers took part in the 2025 edition. Every finisher receives a race t-shirt, finisher medal, and canvas backpack.
