The Maratón Internacional A Pampa Traviesa is the marathon of the annual road-race weekend that the Municipality of Santa Rosa has organised for 41 editions. The marathon starts and finishes in front of the Municipal Building at Avenida San Martín 50, with the gun at 8:00 a.m. The certified urban circuit is flat, at about 180 m above sea level, and the marathon route covers a second lap. Water is served every 5 km, with isotonic drinks at km 26, 30 and 35 and fruit at km 26, 30 and the finish. Every finisher receives a medal and fruit, and cash prizes go to the first seven overall. A half marathon, a 10K and a 5K run on the same day.
