Medio Maratón de Mar del Plata

The Medio Maratón de Mar del Plata is held every November on the Atlantic coast, separate from the city's April marathon. It has run as the NB 21K Mar del Plata, organized by Sportsfacilities within the New Balance Race Series. The 21.097 km course starts and finishes at Playa Grande, runs north along the coast to the Constitución roundabout, returns south to the Escollera Norte, follows Avenida Peralta Ramos and climbs the Golf hill before the final sprint back to the start line. The 10K and 5K start from the same area. Entry includes a bib with chip, official shirt, finisher medal, medical insurance and hydration, and a valid medical certificate is required.
