The Lowdown

The MRRC Silvesterlauf München is a New Year's Eve road race run since 1984 by the München RoadRunners Club. Every distance is a loop through the Olympiapark, with start and finish beside the Kleine Olympiahalle. The 10 km main race starts at 12:30 and is DLV-measured, so times count for the national best lists. A 5 km run, a 2 km school run and a 500 m children's run start earlier in the morning. The 2025 edition set a record with more than 4,300 registrations from 54 nations. Entry is online through Datasport, and the 41st edition is already open for registration.
