New Bedford Half Marathon

More than 2,000 runners took part in the 2026 race, and Murphy Smith won in 1:00:02, nearly breaking the all-time course record.

1. 01Pleasant Street, City Hall – Start and finish of the single-loop course.
2. 02North End – Runners pass through this neighborhood on the loop.
3. 03South End – The course crosses the South End near the water.
4. 04Clarks Cove – Waterfront stretch with views of the cove.
5. 05New Bedford Harbor – Harbor views along the loop.

• Bib transfers to another person cost a $10 fee.
• You can switch to the virtual category any time before race day.
• A virtual option is available at the same $99 price.

• Registration categories are Adult (18-64), 65+ and Youth (under 18 on race day).
• Youth registration must be completed by a parent or guardian.

• More than 30 days before the event, 100% of the entry fee becomes a credit for a future Millennium Running Signature Event.
• From 4 to 30 days before the event, 50% of the entry fee becomes a credit.
• Less than 4 days before the event there are no refunds or credits, but you can still transfer to virtual or to another person.
• If the race is cancelled for weather with no make-up date, registrants receive a 50% credit.
