Niagara Falls Marathon
The Niagara Falls Marathon offers a rare chance to run across an international border, starting in Buffalo, NY, and crossing into Canada via the Peace Bridge. The scenic route along the Niagara Parkway follows the river with stunning fall foliage and misty glimpses of Niagara Falls. While crowd support is sparse, the flat, fast course and breathtaking finish at the Falls make it an unforgettable race.

While the Marathon maintains a "No Refunds" and "No Deferrals" policy, we do allow racers to transfer or sell their entry before the October 15th deadline at 10:00am. Distance changes can also be done online before this deadline. Distance changes after this date can be done at race kit pickup, subject to event availability and a $10 charge to issue a new bib. Bib sales are NOT permitted after the October 15th deadline, both online or in person. Deferrals to another year are not allowed.
It's important to note that the total number of participants across all race categories (including the 5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon) is higher. For example, in 2024, the event attracted over 4,000 participants across all distances. For the upcoming marathon on October 26, 2025, the number of marathon participants is expected to be around 700.
