Rock 'n' Roll Washington DC Half Marathon
The Lowdown
The Rock 'n' Roll Washington DC Half Marathon brings the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series' signature live-music-on-course format to the nation's capital every March. Runners start on Constitution Avenue near 14th Street NW and cover 13.1 miles past the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, across the Arlington Memorial Bridge, through Rock Creek Park, and by Judiciary Square before finishing near 4th Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, within sight of the Capitol Building. The weekend also includes a 5K, a Health & Fitness Expo at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, and a Remix Challenge medal for runners who complete both races. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is the event's official charity partner.
