Run Harrogate 10K

Run Harrogate 10K is the flagship road race of Harrogate Harriers & AC, held each summer through the Crimple Valley on the edge of the North Yorkshire spa town. Currently sponsored as the Harmony Energy Run Harrogate 10K, the UK Athletics-licensed, single-lap course mixes closed roads with well-surfaced paths across gently undulating countryside, making it more of a rolling challenge than a flat 10K. The 2026 edition, run on 28 June, drew 684 finishers and sold out its 1,000-place cap in advance, with a junior fun run held alongside the main event. The race is chip-timed with results texted to runners shortly after they finish, and the day includes a race village with marshalled support, entertainment, and goody bags at the finish. A 1 hour 45 minute cut-off applies, the course is not wheelchair accessible, and dogs and headphones/bone-conduction devices are not permitted under UK Athletics competition rules. Entries for the next edition are expected to open in early 2027, following the event's established late-June date; the exact 2027 date has not yet been published by the organizers.
