San Antonio Marathon
The Lowdown
The San Antonio Marathon is a USATF-certified, Boston Marathon-qualifying race organized by San Antonio Sports in partnership with the City of San Antonio. It launched in December 2025 as the city's own locally organized destination marathon, succeeding the Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio Marathon after that Rock 'n' Roll Running Series event ended its 16-year run with its final race in December 2024. The marathon and half marathon finish at Hemisfair, with 18 water stations on the marathon course and a 7-hour time limit.
