The Lowdown

The Scranton Half Marathon starts and finishes at PenFed Credit Union Field at Memorial Stadium and runs on a course that is mostly road and blacktop, with a short stretch of crushed-stone trail late in the race. The 2027 edition is the 14th and takes place on Sunday, April 4, with a Saturday 5K and a Doherty Double option that combines the 5K and the half. The half marathon starts at 8:00 AM, and the field is capped at 2,500 runners. Group rates are offered at three Scranton hotels, and packet pickup is held at Scranton Running Company on Friday and Saturday.

25% refund from January 1 to February 15.
No refunds from February 16 onward.
Bibs cannot be transferred or deferred to a future race.
