TCS World 10K Bengaluru

The TCS World 10K Bengaluru is the world's premier 10K road race and a World Athletics (formerly IAAF) Gold Label event, first held in 2008 and one of the fastest 10K courses on the elite circuit. Each April, tens of thousands of runners fill the streets of Bengaluru across the elite World 10K, the mass-participation Open 10K, and the non-competitive Majja Run, starting and finishing near Cubbon Road in the city center. The out-and-back-style loop passes Ulsoor Lake and winds through Dickenson Road before returning to the finish, combining a fast, largely flat profile with a few rolling and downhill stretches that have made it a magnet for both East African elite fields and Indian club runners chasing personal bests. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been title sponsor since the race's inception, making it one of the longest-running sponsor partnerships in Indian road racing; IDFC First Bank is the associate sponsor. The 2026 edition (the 18th) drew more than 30,000 registered runners across all categories, with 16,144 finishers in the 10K distance alone, reaffirming Bengaluru's reputation as India's running capital. Registration for the next edition typically opens in February with a February Get Active Expo for bib collection.
