Tralee Half Marathon
The Lowdown
The Tralee Half Marathon is the flagship road race of the Tralee Race Series, a locally organised calendar of seven events from 5K to 100K held across County Kerry every year. Run on the last Sunday of October, the 13.1-mile course starts in Tralee and heads out through Ardfert before returning along the coast through the Spa and the Kerries, mixing quiet country lanes with long stretches of seaside road. It is the most popular distance in the series and closes out the year's calendar, drawing runners who spend race weekend around Tralee's town centre, within reach of the Kerry County Museum and the Dingle Peninsula. Entry runs through EventMaster, with a discounted bundle available alongside the Tralee 10K held six weeks earlier. The course is largely flat with only gentle rolling sections, chip-timed by Timing Solutions Ireland, and includes bag drop at both start and finish.
