The Lowdown

The Verona Marathon (currently titled the Eurospin Verona Run Marathon under its sponsor) is the 25th-edition (2026) full marathon held each November in Verona, Italy, run alongside a 21K half marathon and a non-competitive Family Run as part of the multi-race "Verona Run" weekend. The 42.195K course starts and finishes at Piazzale Olimpia next to Stadio Bentegodi and winds along the Adige River and through Verona's historic center, past landmarks such as the Roman Arena. The race carries a FIDAL Silver Label certification from the Italian Athletics Federation and is organized by GAAC 2007 VERONAMARATHON ASD. Note: this is a distinct event from the separately organized Romeo & Giulietta Run Half Marathon, held each February in Verona — that half marathon is not recorded here.
