21K Coahuila

21K Coahuila is Saltillo's marquee half marathon, run through the city's downtown avenues each year since the late 1990s -- the 2026 edition was its 29th. The race starts and finishes near the Teatro de la Ciudad Fernando Soler, at the corner of Xicoténcatl and Boulevard Francisco Coss, with a wheelchair and visually-impaired division departing at 5:45 a.m. and the general field following at 6:00 a.m. The course is certified by the Federación Mexicana de Asociaciones de Atletismo (FMAA) and recognized by AIMS. Alongside the individual 21K, a 3x7K relay division lets teams of three (all-male, all-female, or mixed) split the distance. The 2026 edition drew roughly 7,000 total participants -- about 6,100 individual finishers and 900 relay athletes -- supported by close to 2,500 volunteers, and paid out nearly 880,000 pesos across overall, age-group (18-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+), regional Coahuila/Saltillo, and adaptive categories. Registration for the 2027 edition, set for Sunday, June 13, is open online through idemsport.com and 21kcoahuila.org, with in-person sign-up at the Auditorio del Parque Las Maravillas in Saltillo.
