The Lowdown
The Medio Maratón del Sarape is an annual half marathon in Saltillo, Coahuila, held on the first Sunday of February. It starts and finishes at the Francisco I. Madero stadium at 7:00 AM and passes the El Sarape road interchange, with a 7K race on the same morning. The third edition, on February 1, 2026, capped the field at 900 runners and gave the 21K a 3-hour limit. The 21K has eight hydration points and checkpoints at km 7 and km 14. The 2027 date follows the first-Sunday-of-February pattern, and registration has not opened yet.
