Bad Buchauer Stadtlauf mit Federsee-Halbmarathon

The Bad Buchauer Stadtlauf mit Federsee-Halbmarathon is run by the club SV 1848 Bad Buchau; the 2026 edition on 11 July was the 25th. The half marathon starts at 9:00 on the Marktplatz, does two small loops through the town centre and the Kurpark, then circles Lake Federsee inside the largest nature reserve in southwest Germany. The course is mostly flat, with about 35 m of height difference, on a mix of asphalt and gravel. About 1 km before the return to town it crosses a 2.5 m wide wooden boardwalk through a protected forest. Eight aid stations on the course serve water, and the one in Seekirch (km 12) and the finish also have isotonic drink and fruit. A 10 km run, a 5 km run and children's races start the same morning. Times are taken by transponder. The 2027 date follows the usual July Saturday and is not yet announced; the 2026 half marathon cost 25 EUR.
