The Lowdown

The Barocklauf is an early-evening road race through Ludwigsburg, with the start and finish at Arsenalplatz. The 10 km main run starts at 19:00 on a two-lap, gently rolling course with only a few metres of climbing; about 2 km near Blühendes Barock is on gravel paths. A 5 km run and walk starts at 18:00, and children's and youth races take place earlier in the afternoon. Timing uses a chip in the bib, every finisher gets a medal, and Pacer Team pacers run the 10 km from 40 to 65 minutes. The sponsor is SWLB (Stadtwerke Ludwigsburg-Kornwestheim). Adult races sold out in 2026, so early registration matters. The organizer has announced the 4th edition for 16 July 2027.
