Capital 10-Miler

The Capital 10-Miler is a Harrisburg road race that starts and finishes on City Island. Administered by Open Stage, a nonprofit regional theatre, the event supports local arts organizations and brings runners from across the Mid-Atlantic and New England. The route follows the Harrisburg riverfront, the Capital Area Greenbelt and bridges over the Susquehanna River. A 10K joined the 10-mile event in 2026, alongside walking and virtual options. In that edition, walkers started at 8:15 a.m. , the 10-mile runners at 9 a.m. and the 10K runners at 9:15 a.m. ; the organizer also recognized the top three four-person teams. The event offered packet pickup at Fleet Feet shops in Mechanicsburg and Harrisburg before race day. The last published edition took place on March 28,2026. A date for the next edition has not been announced.
