The Lowdown
The Greenbrier Half Marathon is run on Mother's Day weekend on the grounds of The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The half marathon starts at 6:45 AM, followed by the 10K at 6:55 AM and the 5K at 7:00 AM. The courses have under 600 feet of elevation gain through the rolling West Virginia mountains. Finishers get a champagne brunch, and the half marathon has a 3 hour 30 minute time limit.
