H/21 Halbmarathon Hannover
The Lowdown
The H/21 Halbmarathon Hannover is a brand-new half marathon debuting on October 11, 2026 in Hannover, Germany. Organized by eichels GmbH, the same team behind the spring ADAC Marathon Hannover, H/21 is a standalone autumn event and not a category inside that marathon weekend. The urban two-lap course starts at the enercity headquarters near Glocksee and finishes at Opernplatz, winding through the lively Linden and Nordstadt neighborhoods. A deliberately late-afternoon start lets the race finish under evening light installations for a distinctive festival atmosphere. Alongside the individual half marathon, runners can enter as a two-person team in the H/21 for Two relay, handing off the baton at kilometer 11 near the turnaround. More than 2,500 runners registered ahead of the inaugural edition.
