Liverpool Running Fest Puebla is an urban road-race weekend organized by Emoción Deportiva and presented by the Liverpool department-store chain, held every October in the city of Puebla. Runners choose between a 16K, the event's headline distance, and a companion 8K, both starting and finishing at the Plaza Angelópolis Lifestyle Center parking lot on Boulevard del Niño Poblano. The race sets off early, at 7:00 a.m., to beat the midday sun at Puebla's roughly 2,135-meter altitude, where October mornings are cool and dry as the rainy season winds down. Race-day registration and packet pickup are not available; runners must collect their kit the day before, on October 10. Liverpool Running Fest also runs a larger edition in Mexico City, but the Puebla weekend is its own standalone event with a separate course, date, and price structure.
