The Lowdown
The Medio Maratón CANACO Durango is organized by the CANACO chamber of commerce in Durango, Durango, and offers 21K, 10K and 5K races that start and finish at the Museo Francisco Villa in the historic center. The 2026 edition ran on September 27 with more than 1,000 registered runners and a cap of 2,000 entries, after the 2025 edition on November 23. The 21K pays a general prize of 7,500 pesos for first place, and the prize pool exceeds 150,000 pesos. The 2027 date is projected from the late-September Sunday pattern and has not been announced yet. The 21K has age categories from Libre up to 70 and over, in men's and women's divisions.
