The Lowdown
Medio Maratón Puebla is a municipal half marathon organized by the Instituto Municipal del Deporte de Puebla and the city government. The 2026 edition is the second, held on Sunday, October 18, with a 7:00 a.m. start. The start and finish are on Calle Sirio in the Reserva Territorial Atlixcáyotl. Runners can choose the 21K, the 10K or the 5.6K, in men's and women's open categories. The 21K pays cash prizes of 15,000, 10,000 and 5,000 pesos to the top three, plus an incentive for the first Puebla resident. Registration closes Friday, October 16 at 5:00 p.m., or earlier if the field fills. Kits are handed out Saturday, October 17 at the Instituto Municipal del Deporte de Puebla.
