The Lowdown

The Medio Maratón UASLP is the annual half marathon of the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, held in the last week of September in the historic center of San Luis Potosí. The 2026 edition was the 43rd, with 21K, 10K and 5K races, and about 15,000 runners in the capital. The 21K and 10K start at Plaza de Fundadores, by the university's Central Building. The 2026 edition started at 6:30 AM, and 2027 dates and prices are not yet announced. The city sits at about 1,860 meters above sea level, so altitude is a factor for visitors.

The 43rd edition drew about 15,000 runners in the capital and more than 2,000 in Ciudad Valles, with an Adopt a Kilometer support initiative along the course.
