The Quad Cities Distance Classic is a half marathon and 5K held on the Sunday of Mother's Day weekend in Moline, Illinois, on the Mississippi River. Both races start at 7:30 AM from Bass Street near the Stoney Creek Inn. The half marathon is 13.1 miles (21.1 km) on a four-loop course along River Drive and the bike path, with four water stops, and all finishers receive a commemorative medal. Course protection runs until 10:30 AM, after which runners move to the sidewalks. Overall and masters (40+) winners earn $100 in prize money, with age group awards. The 2026 edition ran on May 10, and the next edition is expected on May 9, 2027.
