Semi-Marathon de Paris

The Semi-Marathon de Paris is one of the world's largest half marathons, run through central and eastern Paris every March since 1993. The 2027 edition is on Sunday, March 7, 2027, under the title-sponsor name HOKA Semi de Paris. This record keeps the race's neutral common name, because the title sponsor has changed over the years. Cadence Running United, a group formed by Keneo, Havas Events and OSE, organises the race from 2027, taking over from longtime organiser A.S.O. The new organiser has replaced first-come, first-served entry with a free lottery. Applications run from September 8 to September 30, 2026, solo or in teams of two to six, and the draw starts October 1. Selected runners then have 72 hours to pay. The single entry fee is €79, with a 5% discount for FFA licence holders. About 1,000 reduced-price €25 'passerelle' bibs, shared with the Marathon de Paris, are set aside for students on means-tested grants, RSA and AAH recipients, and job seekers. Charity bibs are also available with a fundraising commitment. The 2027 course has not yet been published, and the organiser expects to reveal it in early 2027. Through 2026 the race started on Boulevard Saint-Germain facing Île Saint-Louis. It passed the Institut du Monde Arabe, the Jardin des Plantes and the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand, looped through the Bois de Vincennes, and returned along the Seine to finish near Place de la Bastille. That route carried about 166 meters of elevation gain, most of it in the Bois de Vincennes, with a 9:00am wave start and a 3-hour time limit.
