The Lowdown
The Semi-Marathon de Rambouillet is a half marathon organized each March by Rambouillet Olympique in Rambouillet, southwest of Paris. The 2027 edition is the 39th. It is a single 21.1 km loop that starts at the Stade du Vieux-Moulin, with about one third in town and two thirds in the Rambouillet forest, on paved roads and cycle paths. The course is officially measured, and the race counts as a qualifier for the French half marathon championships and hosts the Yvelines departmental championship. Entries are capped at 2,600 runners, and the 2026 edition closed its registrations before race day. Finishers receive a timing chip bib, a technical shirt and a medal. Runners must leave the km 15 aid station within 1h45 of race time or are routed to a shortcut to the finish.
