Spirit of Magic Valley Half Marathon

The Spirit of Magic Valley Half Marathon is run each June along the Snake River Canyon Rim Trail in Twin Falls, Idaho. Every race starts and finishes at Shoshone Falls. The course passes the Evel Knievel Jump Site and the Perrine Bridge, with canyon views along the way. The half marathon is an out-and-back, with a turnaround at the Perrine Road cul-de-sac around mile 6.55. A 10K, a 5K and a Kids 1 Mile run take place the same morning. The half marathon, 10K and 5K start at 8:00 AM, and the Kids 1 Mile starts at 8:30 AM. Six aid stations offer water and Gatorade, and each runner gets a gel in the packet at pickup. Entry includes an event shirt and finish-line food, and a finisher medal is an optional $10 add-on. The event is organized by the Run It Forward Foundation and has run on the first Saturday of June since at least 2022. The next edition is projected for June 5, 2027.
