TUI PALMA MARATHON MALLORCA
The Lowdown
The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca has become one of Europe's most sought-after destination marathons, combining a flat, fast Mediterranean course with the architectural splendor of Palma de Mallorca's historic old town. Starting at the foot of the magnificent La Seu Cathedral in Parc de la Mar, runners are treated to views of this stunning Gothic masterpiece before heading along the Paseo Marítimo waterfront promenade with the Bay of Palma stretching out to the horizon. The course winds through the narrow medieval streets of the old town, past the 14th-century Bellver Castle — one of only a few circular castles in Europe — and through modern Palma's tree-lined boulevards. With around 1,500 marathon spots that sell out quickly and runners from over 70 countries, the race has a genuinely international atmosphere backed by the professionalism of TUI as title sponsor. The warm October climate (16-24°C) is the warmest of any European fall marathon, and the Balearic sunshine adds to the holiday atmosphere. As part of the TUI Mediterranean Marathon League, it connects to a family of destination races across the region. Whether you're chasing a personal best on this mostly flat course or looking for a race-cation on one of the world's most beautiful islands, Palma delivers.
