Bilbao Night Half Marathon
The Lowdown
Bilbao's flagship night race, now officially branded the Bilbao Night Running Fest under TotalEnergies title sponsorship (previously run as the EDP Bilbao Night Marathon under EDP's sponsorship, and historically as the Bilbao Night Marathon with a full 42.2K distance). All distances start together at 7:00 PM from the San Mamés Stadium esplanade and finish at the Guggenheim Museum, running along the Nervión estuary via the Calatrava (Zubizuri) Bridge and past Euskalduna Palace, the Iberdrola Tower, and Teatro Arriaga. IMPORTANT: for the current (2026) edition the organizers have discontinued the full marathon (42.2K) distance — the event now offers only a Half Marathon (21.097K) and the 10K 'Pirate Race,' both World Athletics Label / RFEA-homologated road races. The half marathon has historically been the race's most popular distance and now serves as its flagship.

- Minimum age 18 for the half marathon; minimum age 16 for the 10K (ages 16-17 need parental authorization)

No refunds or cancellations under any circumstances, per official regulations ('la cancelación o reembolso de la inscripción no se hará bajo ningún concepto').
DISTANCE CHANGE: the full marathon (42.2K) that previously gave this race its name has been discontinued starting with the 2026 edition; only the half marathon and 10K remain. No relay/team option exists for any current distance.
