The Lowdown

The Brest Running Tour is a road half marathon in Brest, on the western tip of Brittany, with a 10 km, a 5 km and an invitation-only Road Mile on the same Sunday morning. The first edition ran on 7 June 2026 with about 6,500 runners and has been run as the Brest Arkéa Running Tour since its launch. The half marathon starts at Cours Dajot and finishes at Quai de la Douane on a new measured course. It goes out toward Moulin-Blanc, where two short climbs break up an otherwise fast route, and the Finistère championship is held within it. The 10 km is an out-and-back between the port and Océanopolis, and the 5 km is a flat loop from the commercial port. The 2026 bibs sold out in about three months, so early registration is wise.
