Carrera Día del Policía

Carrera Día del Policía is a free 10K organized by Comude Zapopan along Boulevard Panamericano, and it opens the Serial Corramos Zapopan each January. The race starts and finishes outside the General Police Commissioner's office on Boulevard Panamericano in Colonia Tepeyac. The field is capped at 4,000 runners, with a 1 hour 30 minute time limit and a minimum age of 18. Police officers and the general public run in separate categories, and each category has trophies for the top three finishers. The entry includes a bib, cloakroom, water and isotonic drinks on the course, medical services, post-race refreshments and a commemorative medal.
