The Lowdown

Gran Carrera Pascual is the annual road race of the Pascual cooperative, run through Mexico City's Paseo de la Reforma and Bosque de Chapultepec. The 12th edition on June 28, 2026 offered 3K, 5K and 10K distances and drew more than 2,700 runners, including about 200 cooperative members and workers. The 2026 edition started at 6:15 a.m., with the awards ceremony around 9:30 a.m. at the finish line. Cash prizes of 5,000, 3,000 and 2,000 pesos go to the top three finishers by gender in the 5K and 10K. Registration is handled through asdeporte and authorized portals, and the 2026 edition sold out. Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. The next edition is expected in late June 2027, and dates and prices are not yet announced.
