Coelmo Napoli City Half Marathon
The Lowdown
The Napoli City Half Marathon is one of Italy's premier road races and a World Athletics Label Road Race (Gold Label from FIDAL, 5-star quality race from European Athletics). Starting and finishing at the Mostra d'Oltremare, the seafront course hugs Naples' Lungomare with views of the Mediterranean and Mount Vesuvius, making it one of the fastest half marathon courses in Italy. Yeman Crippa set the Italian men's half marathon record here in February 2026 (59:01), and Sofiia Yaremchuk set the Italian women's record here in 2024, cementing Naples' reputation as Italy's half-marathon capital. The race draws thousands of runners each February for its scenic route, mild coastal temperatures (around 13°C / 55°F), and a full race-weekend program including a Sport Expo, pacemaker groups, and the Napoli Relay option for two-person teams.
