Coventry Half Marathon
The Lowdown
The Coventry Half Marathon is a spring road race through the historic West Midlands city of Coventry, organized by Run For All, the Leeds-based charity events organizer founded in memory of Jane Tomlinson. Held alongside the Coventry 10K as part of a citywide running festival, the half marathon starts and finishes on Cox Street in the city centre, looping through historic streets before heading out into the Warwickshire countryside and back, and passing landmarks such as the Wave Waterpark and Moseley Avenue Park along the way. Entrants must be at least 17 years old on race day, and entry includes chip timing, a finisher's medal, a goody bag, and an optional tech finisher t-shirt. The 2026 edition, run on April 19, 2026, was marred by a measurement error: an incorrectly placed turning point made the course 512 meters long overall, prompting the timing company to recalibrate all finish times to the standard 13.1-mile distance and Run For All to apologize publicly and offer discounted entry to the following year's race. The next edition takes place on Sunday, April 11, 2027, with registration currently open.
