The Lowdown

ESPN Runaholics is an annual road race through the heart of Mexico City, starting and finishing along Paseo de la Reforma near Torre Mayor. The course loops through Bosque de Chapultepec, passing landmarks including the National Auditorium and the Museum of Modern Art. Runners choose between a 10K and a 21K (half marathon), both starting at 6:00 a.m. Organized by ESPN, the race has run for more than a decade, drawing over 4,000 participants at its 14th edition in November 2025. The event is known for its accessibility program with Achilles México, which supports runners with visual, hearing, and motor disabilities, and for a race-day festival featuring ESPN personalities. Finishers receive an adidas commemorative kit.
