Rock 'n' Roll Mexico City Half Marathon

Rock 'n' Roll Mexico City Half Marathon is the Mexican capital's edition of the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series, the IRONMAN Group's music-themed race series known for live bands, DJs, and cheer squads stationed along a closed course. The series first raced in Mexico City in the 2010s, went dormant after 2019, and returned on December 14, 2025 with OYSHO as title sponsor; the December 13, 2026 edition confirms the race is back on an annual footing rather than a one-off revival. The 21.0975 km course starts on Paseo de la Reforma between the Auditorio Nacional and the Campo Marte gate, runs a mostly flat route past the Bosque de Chapultepec and the Zona Rosa, and finishes inside Campo Marte, with a 3-hour-30-minute time limit and a capacity of 15,000 runners. Because Mexico City sits at roughly 2,240 meters of elevation, the reduced oxygen typically slows finish times relative to sea-level courses, even on flat terrain. Finishers receive a medal and race shirt, and the post-race festival continues the live-music theme with bands and a DJ at Campo Marte.
