Half Marathon Magaluf
The Lowdown
Half Marathon Magaluf is one of Spain's longest-running road races, with more than 40 editions staged in the resort town of Magaluf on Mallorca's southwest coast. Organized by the Fundación Calvià, the event departs and finishes on the synthetic track of the Magaluf Athletics Stadium, sending runners out along Avenida de las Palmeras and Camí de Sa Porrassa toward the Cala Figuera roundabout before dropping down to neighboring Son Ferrer and doubling back. The final five kilometers trace the coastline between Palmanova and Magaluf, past the resort's 1,600-meter beach, before finishing on the track. A companion 10K shares the start/finish and covers a shorter loop through central Magaluf and along the Paseo del Mar in Palmanova. Aid stations are spaced every five kilometers on the half marathon course, and the race is capped by RFEA-approved circuit certification. Race weekend also includes a Kids Run (entry fee just €1, donated to charity), a pasta party with partner restaurants, and street entertainment along the route with batucada drummers, costumed dimonis and DJs. The 2027 edition is set for Saturday, April 17, with the half marathon starting at 18:00 and the 10K ten minutes later.
