Mitja Marató Menorca

The Mitja Marató Menorca is an annual half marathon through Ciutadella, the historic former capital of Menorca in Spain's Balearic Islands. Organized with Elitechip and now in its 26th edition, the certified 21.097 km course starts and finishes at Plaça d'Es Born, tracing two laps of roughly 10 km each along Ciutadella's harborfront promenade and the medieval streets of its old town, with a total elevation gain of about 276 meters. The race runs alongside a 10 km event and a shorter, roughly 4 km Cursa Popular for casual runners and families, all starting together at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The 2025 edition drew a record 1,100-plus finishers across all three distances, with 60% of runners traveling from outside Menorca. Registration is open through elitechip.net and mitjamenorca.com, with tiered pricing that rises as race day approaches and closes October 26, 2026. Entrants must turn 18 by race day. Off-season in November, Ciutadella offers mild Mediterranean weather and a quieter, less touristy look at the island's famous turquoise coves.
