Media Maratón Ciudad de Teruel

The Media Maratón Ciudad de Teruel is an annual half marathon organized by Club Atletismo Teruel Parque in Teruel, the provincial capital of Aragón known for its Mudéjar architecture. The 22nd edition, set for Saturday, November 7, 2026, starts and finishes at Plaza del Torico, sending runners around a 7.032 km urban circuit three times to complete the 21.097 km course, passing landmarks including the Torre del Salvador, the Torre de San Martín, and the Viaducto de Fernando Hué. The route is certified by the Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA) and included on its national Level II calendar, with entry capped at 1,000 runners across the half marathon and its companion 14K and 7K races. Pacers target finish times of 1:24, 1:30, 1:45, and 2:00, and aid stations are set up every 5 km along the course. Caja Rural de Teruel became title sponsor for the first time in 2025, alongside longstanding support from the Teruel city council. Online registration runs through hj-crono.es until November 1, 2026 at 23:59, with prices rising in three tiers as race day approaches; the finish line closes 2 hours 30 minutes after the start. Finishers receive a medal, a technical t-shirt, and access to changing rooms and showers at the Edificio Multiusos.
