Media Maratón de Sabiñánigo

The Media Maratón de Sabiñánigo is an annual half marathon through the Pyrenean foothill town of Sabiñánigo in Huesca province, Aragón, Spain. First run in 1977, it is the longest continuously held half marathon in Aragón, and the 2026 edition marked its 48th running alongside the 37th Memorial Antonio Lardiés and the 8th Sabiñánigo 10K, which starts and finishes together with the half marathon. The RFEA-certified 21.1K course is a single loop that begins and ends near Calle Serrablo, passing through the town center with aid stations at kilometers 5, 10 and 15. Sabiñánigo sits in the Pre-Pyrenees roughly 30 minutes from Jaca and within reach of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, giving the course a mountain-town backdrop. The race is organized by the Ayuntamiento de Sabiñánigo's Sports Sector Council together with the Aragonese Athletics Federation, draws runners from across Spain on a modest entry fee, and pays cash prizes to the top overall and category finishers.
