La Mezza di Treviso
The Lowdown
La Mezza di Treviso is an International Half Marathon run each October through the historic Veneto city of Treviso, debuting in 2014 under founder and former Italian champion Salvatore Bettiol. The 21.097 km course, FIDAL-certified Class A and rated Bronze on the national calendar, starts and finishes at Viale Bartolomeo d'Alviano beneath Treviso's old city walls. Runners head out through Varco Manzoni toward Sant'Artemio, cross into the municipalities of Carbonera and Silea, then return along the Restera path beside the Sile river, Europe's longest spring-fed waterway, before finishing through the historic center past Piazza dei Signori, Via Calmaggiore, and the Duomo. A companion 10.1 km non-competitive run, the Tiramisu Run, starts alongside the half marathon and is open to anyone 16 and older without a competitive medical certificate. The 12th edition takes place Sunday, October 11, 2026, organized by A.S.D. Montello Runners Club with Bettiol Sport Events, under the patronage of the City of Treviso and the municipalities of Carbonera and Silea. Both the half marathon (capped at 1,500 bibs) and the Tiramisu Run (capped at 1,000) sold out ahead of race day, a sign of the event's growing popularity in the Veneto running calendar.
