Livorno Half Marathon
The Lowdown
The Livorno Half Marathon takes runners along the Tuscan coast in Livorno, a port city on the Ligurian Sea about 20 km from Pisa. Now known as the Benetti Livorno Half Marathon after its long-time title sponsor, the shipyard Cantieri Benetti, the race starts and finishes at the Ardenza stadium on Via dei Pensieri. The flat, closed-traffic 21.097 km course loops through Livorno's historic center and along its seafront boulevards, with an emotional pass by the Livorno Naval Academy (marked with a military fanfare) and the Benetti shipyard itself. A companion 10 km run, the Stralivorno, and a short accessible route for participants with disabilities share the same November race morning, organized by ASD Livornomarathon with support from the Municipality of Livorno, UISP, and CONI. The ninth edition runs on Sunday, November 8, 2026, with online registration open through the Thursday before race day and in-person sign-up available race weekend at PalaCosmelli.
