Mezza Maratona d'Italia Memorial Enzo Ferrari
The Lowdown
The Mezza Maratona d'Italia Memorial Enzo Ferrari is a young but fast-growing half marathon through the heart of Italy's motor valley, run each spring across the municipalities of Maranello, Fiorano Modenese, Formigine, and Modena. The 21.0975 km course starts at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and takes runners past the gates of the Ferrari factory, along Viale Enzo Ferrari, and around the historic Fiorano test track before finishing in Piazza Roma in the center of Modena. Organized by RCS Sports & Events (the group behind several of Italy's major road races) and staged in partnership with Ferrari, the event grew from its 2025 debut into a 15,000-runner weekend in its 2026 edition, drawing entrants from 88 countries. A companion 5K Family and Fans Run is held the day before the half marathon, and race weekend includes an expo, cheering points, and refreshment stations along the full route. Proceeds from the event support the renovation of sports and school facilities in the towns the course passes through. The 2027 edition is scheduled for March 13-14, with the half marathon on Sunday March 14 and registration opening September 14, 2026, capped at 10,000 bibs for the 21K.
