The Mitja Marató Ciutat de Tarragona is an annual half marathon and 10K held each November in Tarragona, a Roman-era port city on Catalonia's Costa Daurada and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Organized by the Patronat Municipal d'Esports de Tarragona (PMET), the 2026 edition marks the race's 35th year, making it one of the longest-running half marathons in Catalonia. Both distances share a single start and finish on Carrer Torres Jordi, at its intersection with Vidal i Barraquer. The half marathon runs two laps of a certified urban circuit, while the 10K completes one lap without the Passeig de l'Escullera seafront stretch. The course is fast overall but includes a few demanding climbs near the start and finish, and runners pass close to Tarragona's Roman amphitheatre and the Balcó del Mediterrani viewpoint along the way. The race regularly draws around 1,500 combined finishers and has a history of selling out its bibs well before race day — the 2026 edition's registration closed months in advance. Every finisher receives a commemorative t-shirt, and results are tracked live through the SportManiacs app.

The course is a Federació Catalana d'Atletisme-certified double-loop circuit for the half marathon; the 10K runs a single lap of the same circuit, omitting the Passeig de l'Escullera section.
