Mitja Marató Montornès-Montmeló-Vilanova-La Roca

The Mitja Marató Montornès-Montmeló-Vilanova-La Roca is an annual half marathon in Catalonia's Vallès Oriental, now in its fourth decade. Runners cover a 21.097 km loop that leaves Montornès del Vallès, passes through Montmeló, Vilanova del Vallès and La Roca del Vallès, and returns across the Vall del Mogent valley on a fast, mostly flat course with a long downhill stretch back to the finish; the course record stands at 1:04:14. A parallel 6K race and a children's Mini Marató run alongside it. The 31st edition, held April 12, 2026, drew roughly 2,000 runners across both distances, and the previous year's edition served as the Catalonia Half Marathon Championship. Title sponsor Henkel donates part of every entry fee to the Red Cross of Granollers. Entry includes a technical t-shirt, a Henkel product bundle, pace-group runners, a post-race pasta meal and free parking for more than 800 vehicles. The next edition is expected in April 2027; the exact date had not yet been published as of September 2026.
