Oxford Half Marathon

The Oxford Half Marathon is an annual road race through the historic heart of Oxford, England, held every October since 2011. The 2026 edition, its 15th, is scheduled for Sunday, 11 October 2026, starting and finishing on Mansfield Road with an Event Village in Oxford's University Parks. The flat, fast 13.1-mile course passes landmarks including the Sheldonian Theatre, Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library, and Bridge of Sighs, with live music along the route and a cut-off time of 13:45. The Oxford Half has sold out for four consecutive years; the 2025 race drew a record 13,000 runners and raised over £1.5 million for more than 180 charities. General entries for 2026 are already sold out, and charity-place entries, the primary remaining route in through partners such as headline charity Helen and Douglas House, are also largely full, with waiting lists open for 2027. Charity entry typically costs a £25 registration fee plus a minimum sponsorship pledge, commonly £250 to £300. Entrants must be at least 17 years old on race day.
