Stracivitanova
The Lowdown
Stracivitanova is an annual half marathon held in Civitanova Marche, on Italy's Adriatic coast in the Marche region. First run in 1976, the race marked its 50th edition with a special 'Gold' celebration in March 2026 and returns for its 51st edition on March 14, 2027. Organized by A.S.D. Nuova Atletica Civitanova with FIDAL homologation, the flat, Category A-certified 21.097 km course starts on Corso Umberto I, loops along the waterfront promenade past Piazza XX Settembre and the harbor pier, and finishes back at Piazza XX Settembre. Alongside the competitive half marathon, the event offers a 10.5 km non-competitive route open to all runners aged 16 and up, and a 4 km StraFamily walk/run for families. More than 3,200 runners registered for the 2026 edition, with over 5,000 visitors drawn to the city for race weekend. Women start at 9:30 AM and men at 9:45 AM, with four aid stations along the half marathon course.
