Wolverhampton Half Marathon

The Wolverhampton Half Marathon is an annual city-centre road race in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, run alongside a 10K over the same course. Both distances start and finish on North Street outside Wolverhampton Civic Hall, weaving through the city's historic streets on an undulating route before returning to the finish. The race has run annually on the first Sunday of September for years, drawing local running clubs, first-timers, and charity fundraisers from across the West Midlands. In August 2026, organizer StuWeb Events cancelled that year's Wolverhampton Half Marathon, citing the loss and unavailability of key personnel, and processed full refunds for entrants while confirming the event will return on 5 September 2027. Past editions have offered a finisher's medal and t-shirt, chip timing, and a discounted entry rate for UK Athletics (UKA) affiliated runners, with the half marathon carrying a roughly three-and-a-half-hour cut-off.
