- Minimum age 18 years on race day to enter the full marathon
- Valid registration and payment completed before the registration deadline
- Start number and bib are personal and non-transferable
- Participants must agree to and comply with the race terms & conditions and event rules
- Runners must be physically fit to participate; medical clearance recommended for anyone with pre-existing conditions
- All participants must wear the issued race bib visibly for the entire race
- Participants must comply with race cut-off times and marshal/organiser instructions
- Anti-doping rules apply; entrants must accept potential drug testing and sanctions for violations

The Copenhagen Marathon is known for its flat, fast course that takes runners past iconic city landmarks including Nyhavn, The Little Mermaid, Amalienborg and Tivoli Gardens, offering scenic urban views throughout the route.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a technical race shirt, and the finish area provides post-race food and hot drinks with a dedicated recovery zone.
Race weekend includes an official race expo with packet pickup and exhibitors, a kids' run and community events in the days leading up to race day.
Aid stations are placed roughly every 4–5 km offering water, electrolyte drink and sponges, public transport is the easiest option for arrival and there is a secure bag-drop near the start/finish; expect short cobbled sections in the historic center so use caution.
